PHOENIX -- Police have arrested five people in connection with a string of increasingly violent robberies, authorities said.According to an e-mail from Phoenix Police Department spokesman Trent Crump, several of the alleged robbers were arrested Oct. 26 when they were spotted fleeing from a Chandler jewelry store.The final arrest occurred late Thursday night.Police believe Andrew Bochinclonny, 29; Jose Solis, 21; Ruben Mendietta, 26; Ishmael Luna, 23; and Jocy Martinez, 26, primarily targeted jewelry stores and stores selling cellular phones.Officers also said the robberies were becoming more violent -- a recent one resulted in a shootout between the group and a victim.
