UPDATED: 1:33 pm MST October 30, 2009

The Arizona Cardinals says tickets to their game against the Carolina Panthers have sold out after the National Football League granted the team an extension to the television blackout deadline.

In order to air live on local television, league rules require games to be sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff.

The deadline for this Sunday's game had been extended until 2:15 p.m. on Friday.

Earlier Friday, the team had about 1,000 tickets remaining. They were all snapped up.
