MARICOPA, Ariz. -- Maricopa High School was burglarized again Sunday evening for the eighth time since it opened in April 2008, police said.

The burglars entered the main office building and took several small electronics that were locked in a desk drawer, officers said.

It appears that the office was targeted specifically for those items; nothing else was taken or damaged, investigators said.

The main office of the school was closed for several hours during the initial investigation. Students were not impacted since they are currently on fall break this week.
