PHOENIX -- Eight years after an explosion destroyed Robert Fisher's Scottsdale home, law enforcement officials are still looking for the man.Fisher, who is now on the FBI's Most Wanted List, vanished after his home exploded and his wife and two children were found dead inside. His wife, Mary, had been shot in the head, and their two children's necks were slashed.FBI Agent Bob Cauldwell has been chasing Fisher for years; he said in the past eight years, the FBI has received about 2,000 tips about Fisher from all over the world.Fisher's ability to hide may have something to do with his multiple personas, Cauldwell said."We refer to him as a Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde and Mr. Fisher," Cauldwell said. "He was different ways with different people."Family members thought the ex-Navy firefighter was a devoted father and husband who found strength through religion.Co-workers saw the cardiac technician as a know-it-all who offered doctors his own opinion during procedures.Friends knew the avid outdoorsman as a gun enthusiast whose strange behavior seemed to be becoming more dangerous.Nevertheless, Cauldwell said he believes Fisher is still alive."He's not the type of guy to go disappear in a deep hole somewhere and just off himself," he said. "He is out there somewhere."The FBI said its biggest issue with the Fisher case is that people who think they've seen him sometimes wait hours before they call law enforcement, and by then, the lead is cold.Anyone who thinks he's seen Fisher should call local police or the FBI immediately.Related:
