TUCSON, Ariz. -- Police arrested 24-year-old Gumersinda Galaz on Wednesday after members of the Department of Public Safety and a drug strike force said they recovered about 1,100 pounds of marijuana inside Galaz's home.

DPS said detectives staked out a trailer park in the southern part of the Tucson and watched as marijuana was being removed from a shed.

Authorities followed a car away from the scene and later arrested a 20-year-old man, identified as John Matus of Tucson. Authorities said Matus had a bale of marijuana.

Galaz was arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail on drug related charges to include charges of child endangerment.

Galaz has three children, ages eight, five, and four.

Police are currently looking for the children's father, Jesus Erasto Martinez, for questioning.
