PHOENIX -- A man who allegedly scrawled graffiti saying "Joe Sucks" has been arrested by deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, authorities said.

According to a news released issued by the sheriff's office, deputies and Phoenix police officers arrested Dylan Christopher, 36, on Thursday on suspicion of writing derogatory remarks toward Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and law enforcement.

Christopher was also booked on similar charges stemming from graffiti crimes in other Valley cities, deputies said.

In late May, Christopher was arrested in connection with a graffiti incident at the Board of Supervisors Auditorium, deputies said.
