GUADALUPE, Ariz. -- Maricopa County sheriff's deputies arrested a 23-year-old man Tuesday night in Guadalupe in connection with a child molestation case.

Mario Chavez-Tavena was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on four counts sexual assault, four counts molestation of a child, one count sexual conduct with a minor, and one count kidnap-death/injury/sex.

Sheriff's investigators launched a criminal investigation on May 10 after a young girl was identified as the victim of multiple sexual assaults.

MCSO said it appears the case is isolated and there are no other victims.
