UPDATED: 12:00 pm MST June 16, 2009

The Pinal County Attorney's Office filed manslaughter and extreme DUI charges in connection with a fatal car crash last May against a man.

At about 9:20 p.m. May 11, Jamie G. Aguayo, 42, failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Smith-Enke and state Route 347 in Maricopa, Ariz.

Aguayo's car collided with a car driven by Victoria Winsor, 59, said police.

Winsor suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at a Phoenix hospital a short time later, said police.

Police determined that Aguayo's blood-alcohol concentration was 0.212 at the time of the crash, well over two times the legal limit to be operating a vehicle.
