Father Failed To Return Son After Court-Ordered Visitation

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a 9-year-old boy after his father failed to return him after a weeklong visitation, authorities said.According to a news release from the Chandler Police Department, James Anthony Kaiser and his son, Benjamin Kaiser-Griffin, have not been heard from since Kaiser didn't bring Benjamin back from the court-ordered visit.Kaiser's Tempe, Ariz., home is vacant, and investigators said they believe he has moved. He has contacts in Washington and Mexico.Kaiser had previously said he wanted to live in Hawaii, and he has taken Benjamin there in the past, police said.Benjamin's mother has full custody, and Kaiser only has court-ordered visitation rights, police said.Police ask anyone with information to call the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130.
