PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a shooting suspect they're saying is armed and dangerous, authorities said.Manuel Julio Alcantar, 35, is accused of shooting and killing the woman he lives with after an argument at a family member's home Wednesday morning, deputies said.Youngtown police found the woman lying in the street and bleeding profusely, and she died at the scene, a police representative said.Deputies said the man escaped to his home a few blocks away, and they had it surrounded for about four hours; however, when deputies used a flash-bang grenade to enter, Alcantar was nowhere to be found. The Youngtown Police Department handed the case to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office because the "department does not have the staffing or resources to investigate a homicide of this magnitude," a police representative said.
