PHOENIX -- Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter, Exodus Tyson, is on life support in extremely critical condition at a Valley hospital after nearly strangling herself with a cable attached to a treadmill in her home, according to the Phoenix Police Department. When officers arrived at the scene, the girl's mother was performing CPR. Officers took over, and the Phoenix Fire Department arrived several minutes later, police said.According to Phoenix Police Department spokesman Sgt. Andy Hill, the girl's mother called 911 when she found her daughter."Somehow the little girl got caught up around the neck with some object," Hill said. "Right now she's in extremely critical condition."The girl's mother followed the ambulance to the hospital, neighbors said.Tyson was out of town when police notified him of his daughter's condition, and he immediately returned to Phoenix, police said in an e-mail.Police said the incident appears to be an accident, but they are still conducting a full investigation.Neighbors spoke fondly of Exodus after hearing the news."She is so sweet, always riding her bike around. I just saw her a couple days ago," said neighbor Abby St. Germain."It's just heartbreaking. I don't know if I could ever get over losing a child, I hope she pulls through," said neighbor Heather Brodhurst.Reporter Peter Busch contributed to this story.
