2 Dead In Small Chopper Crash

BLACK CANYON CITY, Ariz. -- A small helicopter crashed Friday afternoon near Black Canyon City, killing two people, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
Footage from the scene showed wreckage of the chopper on a frontage road about 100 yards off Interstate-17 by Rock Springs Road.
Authorities said the helicopter burst into flames after it hit the ground.
Deputies said that the aircraft looked like an experimental helicopter.
Authorities said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said it is helping with traffic-related issues, although no roadways have been closed.
The crash was initially handled by the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office until it was determined the wreckage was within the jurisdiction of Maricopa County sheriff's deputies.
YCSO officials said they initially received a 911 call reporting a helicopter on fire and falling from the sky.
