3 Teens Hurt In Drive-By Shooting

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent three teenage boys to the hospital.The boys were shot as they were walking along Aire Libre near 32nd Street on Tuesday evening, police said.Officers said a car pulled up beside the teens at about 7:15 p.m., and the passenger of the car fired several shots at the boys.Officers said each teen was shot, but they were not seriously hurt.One teen was shot four times in his upper body, and the other two received gunshot wounds to their legs.They are recovering at Valley hospitals.Officers said they are investigating the motive for the shooting; the victims told police they did not know why anyone would want to shoot them.
