BELLEMONT, Ariz. -- Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies have found four lost hikers after a day of search.

The hikers were located east of Wild Bill Hill, near the town of Bellemont. According to deputies, the three hikers, some of whom live in Scottsdale and Phoenix, were trying to hike around the Lava River Cave area west of Flagstaff when the team became disoriented and lost on Wednesday.

A member of the hiking party called authorities, who launched a search and rescue efforts, according to deputies. The hikers were in good condition, and did not require medical attention, deputies said.
