UPDATED: 1:29 pm MST February 20, 2009

Two men are suspected of dumping sewage on a roadway and in a wash behind All American Septic Pumping in Golden Valley, Mohave County sheriff's detectives said.

Deputies said they arrested Michael Whitten, 26, of Golden Valley, who is the manager of the business and John E. Dunn, 45, of Kingman, early Thursday afternoon on multiple felony offenses.

Deputies said they received information in January that the company was not disposing of waste properly.

Detectives mounted an investigation that included ground units and aircraft from Mohave County Sheriff's Office and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Officials said they observed employees dumping sewage on a roadway in the Dolan Springs area.

A search warrant was executed at the business. Records were seized and the pair was arrested.

Detectives said they also determined that waste was being dumped in a wash behind the business.

The Mohave County Health Department and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality were notified. Officials said charges may be filed against the owner of the business.
