2 Men Sought In Separate Holdups

Banks Held Up Saturday In Phoenix, Chandler

Images from bank surveillance cameras show two men sought in connection with separate robberies in Phoenix and Chandler.

Chandler police said a man passed a note demanding money to a teller early Saturday afternoon at the Chase Bank branch at 1920 W. Chandler Blvd.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was produced, said Detective David Ramer of the Chandler Police Department.

The robber is described as black and about 6 feet 4 inches tall. He is between 20 to 25 years old. He was last seen wearing black knee-length shorts, a green and white plaid button-up shirt, a green-colored fisherman hat and sunglasses.

People who know the whereabouts of the suspect should call the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130.

Another holdup was reported Saturday afternoon as the Wells Fargo Bank at 8991 E. Mountain View Road. A man approached a teller, demanded money and fled.

Police said the robber never displayed a weapon.

He is described as 6 feet tall and in his 50s. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and a light-colored ball cap.
