PHOENIX -- A jury has found two men guilty of kidnapping, extortion, aggravated assault and human smuggling after a victim led police to a drop house.Alfonso Lopez-Millan, 51, and Efrin Osuna-Chavez, 42, were convicted of three counts of kidnapping, three counts of extortion, one count of aggravated assault and one count of human smugglingAccording to a Phoenix police probable cause statement, a victim escaped from a drop house on Oct. 11, 2007 where she was being held against her will until she paid an increased fee for being smuggled into the country.The victim said she was threatened with bodily harm and that her captors were armed with guns and clubs, the statement said.Police were led to the drop house located near 99th Avenue and W. Indian School Road in Phoenix and found 25 illegal immigrants who were being held. A man was found inside the house bound, beaten and bloody, the police statement said.Sentencing is set for Jan. 15.
