CHANDLER, Ariz. -- A local store clerk was killed Sunday night as the result of a single gunshot wound.

According to police, Shawn Michael Foote, 26, was found on the floor of "Smoke N Stuff" smoke shop in Chandler around 9 p.m Sunday.

Police said Foote had suffered a single gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

According to police, a witness saw a man take off in a dark-colored grey or silver 1990's Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis.

The man was described as 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing between 160 to 180 pounds, with dark curly hair.

The man was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, dark-colored jeans and a dark or maroon-colored sweatshirt.
