Police said by her own admission Anderson preyed on victims due to their vulnerability.

Officers said they were dispatched on Jan. 22 to take a report of an inappropriate relationship between Anderson and one of her players who is now 16 years old.

Police said their investigation into the alleged, one-year-long relationship led them to intercept and retrieve messages on myspace.com that contained information that indicated that a sexual relationship may have taken place.

Investigators said they also obtained phone records belonging to the coach and victim that revealed the pair had been engaging in multiple, hour-long conversations daily since December 2007. Officers also foound thousands of text messages between the two during the same time period.

The victim said there were three to four incidents where Anderson had given her a ride home and that they had engaged in sexual contact, according to court documents.

The victim also detailed another incident that took place on Jan. 20 at the coach's home in Goodyear, documents said.

During an initial appearance, Anderson was ordered to wear electronic monitoring and released on $18,000 bond.
