SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a 69-year-old woman and charging $3,200 to her credit cards at Target without being asked for identification, Scottsdale police said.Santiago Cruz was arrested the day after the robbery near his Phoenix home. Cesar Droz was not located until 6 a.m. Thursday.Detectives credited their capture to tips from viewers who watched surveillance video telecast over local media.Shirley Jean Fee, 69, and Richard Lane, 74, had finished dinner at Julio G's at Indian School and Miller roads around 8 p.m. on Sept. 15.As the couple walked through the parking lot to their car, they were approached by two men who brandished a weapon and demanded Fee's purse and Lane's wallet, Scottsdale police said.The robbers started to walk away, but returned to demand the couple's cell phones. Fee and Lane said they did not have cell phones, and the robbers walked away through an alley.Fee and Lane went back into the restaurant to call police.Officers set up a perimeter and began a K-9 search, but were unable to find the robbers.Less than an hour after the robbery, police said, the two men racked up a $3,200 bill in multiple transactions at a Target store near 44th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix and paid with Fee's credit cards.Surveillance video showed sales clerks at the jewelry counter and main checkout completing the transactions without asking the men for identification.
