An English teacher and cheerleading coach at Paradise Valley High School who was arrested May 2 on 29 counts of sexual conduct with a minor pleaded not guilty during her arraignment on Monday.

Jennifer Mally, 27, was ordered to appear back in court on July 12 at 8:15 a.m.

Mally was taken into custody at the school's district office on May 3 and placed on administrative leave.

She posted an $18,000 bond.

Mally is required to wear an electronic monitoring device, and she's been ordered to stay at home and have no contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18.

Police said the principal at Paradise Valley High School was told about some inappropriate conduct between Mally and a 16-year-old student.

The sexual acts allegedly took place between October 1, 2006, and April 1, 2007, and took place at various locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale, including the teacher's and boy's homes and the teacher's vehicle, according to newly released court documents.

On April 30, the victim told school authorities that he and Mally had been engaged in a long-term sexual relationship, court documents said. Police were then contacted and an interview was conducted with the victim.

Detectives then recorded a phone call between Mally and the students in which she admitted to the relationship and worried about being arrested, documents said.

Police said they were looking into whether there are any other possible victims.
