PHOENIX -- A Rimrock woman arrested Tuesday told deputies she had methamphetamines and a pipe in her underwear, a Yavapai County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said.A deputy patrolling Beaver Creek Road in Lake Montezuma stopped a vehicle at a gas station around 9:45 a.m. and made contact with the two women inside.The deputy said the driver, 44-year-old Lavon Rose Ruiz, of McGuireville, and her passenger, 23-year-old Marlena Rae Aguallo, of Rimrock, showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests.The deputy said Aguallo told him she had meth and a pipe in her underwear.Officials said Ruiz was found to be high on meth and in possession of drug paraphernalia as well.Both women were arrested. Ruiz was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.Aguallo was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. Officials said they found the meth and pipe in her underwear when she was searched during booking at the Camp Verde Jail.
