Dad's CPR Saves Drowning Child

PHOENIX -- A 3-year-old child was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after being pulled out of the backyard pool by his dad who performed CPR.Police said the child wandered into the pool near 31st and Dunlap avenues because of a fence that wasn't latched.The child was only under water about a minute, according to officers.Paramedics arrived and took over the rescue effort.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
