Social worker Elizabeth McClain, of Apache Junction, has been arrested and jailed, accused of having approximately 700 images of child pornography.

Police said a computer repair worker called them after finding disturbing movies on her laptop computer.

Investigators told CBS 5 News that many of the images involve young girls in explicit acts.

"Anybody that deals with kids on a regular basis and has a sexual interest in children, that's just a recipe for disaster," said Mesa detective Jim Mills.

McClain, facing 10 felony counts, is scheduled to appear in court in mid-December.

Police said she had been providing contract services for family counseling in Pinal County.
