CBS 5 and the Phoenix Zoo are taking the 2008 NCAA bracket challenges to a whole new level.

They've set up their own little bracket brainstorm with the help of a Valley monkey.

Morning and noon news anchor Chris Coraggio, CBS 5 Chief Meteorologist Sean McLaughlin and Weather Watch 5 forecaster Paul Horton are going head-to-head with Monster, as the monkey is affectionately known.

The object is to see who can pick the most winners and maybe even a national champion.

Monster will be drawing poker chips inscribed with the teams' names.

It'll be fun to watch the progress of this friendly little competition.

Be sure to tune in to the CBS 5 Morning News from 4:30 to 7 a.m. to follow all the fun-spirited monkey business!

We'll also post results here, too, so hurry back!
