Position Summary: This position helps collect content for daily newscasts. The position must edit as well as shoot daily news stories.
Minimum requirements: *all must be met to be considered.
Education: College degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience shooting daily news stories and editing (linear and non-linear) experience. Experience operating live microwave equipment a must.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a minimum of two years experience of shooting and editing (linear and non-linear) news stories. Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and good driving record. Must be able to operate microwave vehicles and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 65-100 pounds. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes overnights. Must have excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast paced live, late breaking newsroom environment.
