A handful of law enforcement agencies nationwide turn to RADAR to help arrest and prosecute suspect sexual predators.

A 5 Investigates team was in the front seat of an undercover patrol car as investigator Mike Harris sped along a Colorado highway to meet a man who was led to believe Harris was a teenage girl.

A 34-year-old man named Chris showed up in a parking lot to meet what he thought were two underaged girls for sex. Instead, he is met at gunpoint by a team of undercover investigators, including Harris.

Harris is breaking ground as one of the first law enforcement officials to use RADAR successfully.

RADAR is a parental tool that safeguards children using cell phones and immediately alerts parents if the child is receiving unapproved e-mail, text messages or phone calls.

The product provides parents with complete text messages, sent and received from the child's phone, along with corresponding phone numbers.
