Mesa Historical Museum Hosts Wallace & Ladmo Exhibit

The Mesa Historical Museum is pleased to announce the opening for the temporary exhibit "Thanks for Tuning In: The Wallace and Ladmo Show." The exhibit explores the history and fun facts of the local TV show that captivated three generations of Arizonans.

The exhibit opening will be Saturday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bill Thompson, the actor who played Wallace Snead on the show, and Pat McMahon, who played many characters, will be on site, signing autographs at various times throughout the day.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children.

The Mesa Historical Museum is located at 2345 N. Horne, north of McKellips Road.

The exhibit was curated by collector Steve Hoza and will be open until Aug. 31, 2008.
