PHOENIX -- A Glendale family unexpectedly became foster parents to a puppy, but soon learned they wouldn't have to do much work -- the family's cat began taking care of the puppy for them. The Bealeys took in their niece's puppy while she was in the hospital having her baby, KPHO-TV reported. The puppy, named Pretty, quickly bonded with the Bealeys' cat, who recently had a litter of kittens.Pretty made herself at home, cuddling and playing with the cat and feeding with the newborn kittens. The Bealeys are still surprised by the unlikely pair."Cats and dogs just don't get along," Daniel Bealey said. The family is worried that their cat might get too attached to Pretty, who will return to her owner soon.
