More tour dates have been postponed on Van Halen's latest concert tour, apparently due to guitarist Eddie Van Halen's health issues.

The band's Web site said that the tour has been postponed until April 19 while the guitarist remains "under doctors' care."

The group postponed a handful of dates earlier this month.

The cities affected by the latest wave of postponed shows include Charlottesville, Va.; East Rutherford, N.J.; New York City; Duluth, Ga; Pittsburgh; Providence, R.I.; Uncasville, Conn.; Atlantic City, N.J.; St. Louis; Columbus, Ohio; Rosemont, Ill.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Milwaukee; Manchester, N.H.; Hershey, Pa; Raleigh, N.C., and Baltimore.

Van Halen's representative and the tour promoter, Live Nation, released a statement earlier in the month about the rocker's health.

"According to Eddie Van Halen's physician, he is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures," the statement said.

Van Halen embarked on their reunion tour with original lead singer David Lee Roth last fall.

Eddie Van Halen has had medical setbacks in recent years, including a battle with cancer and a trip to rehab.
